Welcome to Danzig's website. Back in 2007 we were looking for a new addition to bring the kind a joy only a dog can bring into a home. As past owners of large breeds dogs we were well aware of the health issues that typically come along with them. Sound hips and a stable temperment were priorities in our search. In addition were wanted a loyal companion who could keep up with our active lifestyle but still be content laying around the house. We were lucky enough to stumble upon a rare breed that meet all our needs. The Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club of America had years of history and endless amounts of information about the breed. We poured through the Shiloh Learning Center data, read through the Breed Founders articles and joined the forum of Shiloh Shepherd Friends. It was clear the licensed breeders were very knowledgable and before summer ended we had made our decision. A Shiloh Shepherd was the perfect dog for us.
Danzig is an ISSR Shiloh Shepherd born September 27th 2007 at Solace Shiloh's in Bothell Washington. He is formost a loving companion and member of our pack. But he has also proven to be an excellent show dog and an important part of the ISSR breeding program. Becoming involved with the Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club of America has been a fulfilling adventure and we look forward to many years of seeing this magnificant breed develop and gain it's place in the world of dogs.
